Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Volkano.io platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Volkano.io is a cybersecurity intelligence platform that provides identity exposure monitoring, threat intelligence, dark web alerts, incident response tooling, and related security services. The Service is offered on a subscription basis with multiple plan tiers.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed on a monthly subscription basis. Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Demo Accounts

Demo accounts are subject to manual review and approval. Demo access is provided with limited trial capabilities and may be revoked at any time. Demo accounts are intended for evaluation purposes and are not for production security operations.

6. Acceptable Use

You may only submit email addresses, domains, URLs, and IP addresses that you own or have explicit authorization to scan. You may not use the Service to:

• Scan or monitor third parties without authorization
• Engage in unauthorized access to systems or data
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Resell or redistribute Service data without written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit platform infrastructure

7. Data and Scan Results

Scan results and intelligence data provided through the Service are for informational purposes. We aggregate data from publicly available sources, breach databases, and open-source intelligence. We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all results. You are responsible for verifying findings before taking action.

8. Plan Limits and Usage

Each plan has specific scan limits, module access, and usage quotas. Exceeding plan limits requires upgrading to a higher tier. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that exhibit abusive usage patterns.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its interface, algorithms, and reports, is the intellectual property of Volkano.io. You retain ownership of data you submit for scanning. We retain the right to use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Volkano.io is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses from security incidents, data breaches, or reliance on scan results. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@volkano.io.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
